In '67, our founder, the original Trader Joe, changed our name (yes, to Trader Joe's) and the way we do business. We made the stores bigger (if you can imagine), decked the walls with cedar planks and donned our crew in cool Hawaiian...
Like a “breath of fresh air”, this Left Coast chain has “taken NY by storm” as a “cheap fix for foodies” and average Joes “thrilled” by the “abundance of interesting” gourmet goods and “healthy alternatives” (the store brand “rocks”), not to mention “fab prices” and staffers on “happy pills”; the “idiosyncratic selection” runs to “solid” produce, “tempting” frozen foods with “adventurous”...
My favorite TJ's location so far. It's got a great layout, clean, well stocked, spacious, and always staffed with friendly and helpful crew members. The line can get long, but that's to be expecte...
