You won't find many Argentinian restaurants south of the border—i.e. south of Canal Street—and that's a pity. The terrific steaks and cuisine of Buenos Aires come to life in this cavernous space, where every piece of furniture is authentic and imported from Argentina. The free range meat from Executive Chef Fernando Trocca is truly terrific, and the 100% Argentinian wine list contains a number...
Co-owners Stefano Villa (formerly of Azul and Novecento) and Fernando Dallorso try to create harmony between the various regions of Argentina at this sleek TriBeCa eatery. And they largely succeed. Appreciative urbanites grace the low-lit dining room to enjoy chef Fernando Trocca’s skirt steaks and branzino. The meat and corn empanadas, served with tomato mojito salsa, present an authentic...
The dapper, sophisticated sibling in the Novecento restaurant fam (hipster sister Azul slums it in the LES and flashy big bro Novecento chases models in Soho). Everything is Argentine at Stefano Villa's western enclave, from the high design decor to the stunning wine list to the inventive gaucho eats from Argie kitchen stars Fernando Trocca and Natali Machado. Attractive Tribeca-ites sip...

Big disappointment. Used canned artichoke stems in the appetizer and commercial French dressing for the salad. No offers of pepper from the itinerant pepper mill for the salad, no water refills without flagging down a waiter, and didn't clear the table of crumbs before serving the dessert, as one would have expected here, though the restaurant wasn't busy during our visit.
Should be better
Really nice-looking restaurant and good food.

Intimate and welcoming, Industria Argentina, like its name is made with all things Argentinian. From the attractive rustic decor to the menu, flavors of this South American city definitely make their presence felt. Try the popular grills or steak selections like the short ribs or the Patagonian style rack of lamb. Authentic Argentinian wines, available by the glass, round up the meal.
A three-course lunchtime prix-fixe is available for $20.
Try sister restaurant Novecento in Soho.
Choose a malbec from the exclusively Argentine wine list, or try Quilmes, Argentina's favorite beer.
