Editorial reviews from the web (3)

The "beautiful" displays "make everything look enticing" at Daniel Boulud's Lincoln Center take-out "emporium", a "foodie's dream" featuring "breathtaking baked goods", a "cozy" stand-up raw bar, "superb" wines to enjoy at outside tables and prepared meals for "a picnic with someone you're trying to impress"; sure, it's "not cheap", but "you're definitely paying for quality."

Daniel Boulud gives New York a diabolical option for à emporter purchases in suspicious proximity to the vast picnicking fields of Central Park.

Epicerie Boulud Restaurant Review

Located between Bar Boulud and Boulud Sud, this traditional epicerie from Daniel Boulud is the most affordable way to taste the chef's offerings. There are stand-up tables inside and, in warm weather, tables out in front. Charcuterie and cheese and various pâtés are on the menu, but it’s the sandwiches that steal the show. On the way to see the ballet at Lincoln Center, we needed to refuel ourselves with some lunch. We stopped at our favorite watering hole in the area, Epicerie Boulud. Owned by restauranteur Daniel Boulud, this is his European-style café filled with all kinds of mouthwatering foods that are sure to tempt. There are specialty sandwiches, fancy hot dogs with toppings, quiches with salads, pastries,...

No seating, just a stand up grab and go (or stand) place. Soup and grilled cheese were delicious. Near Lincoln Center.

I've tried a number of things here, and they've all been good. However, my favorite item has to be the chocolate chip cookie, which I think may be my favorite in NYC (and I may have tried almost all of them...). The chocolate is exceptional and the base is more flavorful than most cookies.

A Great Experience that can be revisited

I discovered the food court while a guest at the beautiful Plaza Hotel. I went there for breakfast. I found they had just what I liked - steel cut oats with granola and golden raisons and for 50 cents I could get some almond milk. The coffee was the best I have ever had and I do love coffee for...
