Excellent Mexican food stand in Soho

The lines can be around the block for lunch at this little street stand in Soho. Fridays are slower and Fridays before holiday weekends are even slower. Try and of the burrito bowls. The guacamole with chips and salsa is good too. Be prepared to wait even after you order. It's worth it.

Food truck to sit down restaurant - this place is just simply great Mexican food served well and at very reasonable prices.
We ate there last week and were very impressed. The menu is made up of recipes from the owner's grandmother and the food is very authentic. We highly recommend trying the Elote appetizer - this is grilled corn...

We visited Calexico twice this week once on Prince Street NYC and once in Brooklyn NYC...my husband and I were amazed in the quality a food truck possessed and how exact the taste was to the actually eatery in Brooklyn...we are from NYC so we are used to inflated prices...not here though...every thing is affordable and delicious! This place is just dirt-cheap and pretty straight up. You get what you see and the food and drinks are very reasonably priced.
