Good location, hotel not so much

The only reason this hotel received an average rating is because of the location & front desk staff. Metro & food places are within blocks of the hotel.The decor of the hotel may have been urban & modern at some point. Now it looks tired & used. At a glance the room appeared fine. Then I noticed the carpet had stains in several places. The bathroom wasn’t clean, just surface clean....

Loud,filty and terrible service

Room directly under the rooftop bar. Super loud and the staff doesn't care. I called (on my cell phone because room phone didn't work and was covered in disgusting film), was told they had no other rooms but would get back to me with possuble solutions. Never heard from them. Room is old and only superficially clean. Sticky stuff all over. Do NOT stay in this gross, rude place.

Good stay when stranded in New York

We were put up here when the snow bomb decided to hit New York on our day of departure. We arrived through the middle of the night by the time BA got themselves in gear. Average stay, nothing spectacular.

We stayed for one night for an event at Barclay's Center and a trip to Brooklyn Museum. It was easy enough to get to, but took a while due to heavy traffic in the area (2:00 p.m. on a Friday). MOMS NIGHT AWAY

Aloft was a perfect night away in the city. I decided to book a room to myself after work and this hotel was perfect. The bed was very comfortable the room was clean and tidy. The bathroom was perfect size and spacious. I would stay again!
