Started seeing Shane about 3 years ago - since then, about 10 of my friends see him too!!
before him I would pick up orange and brassy - he makes my hair the most beautiful blond, amazing with highs and lows.
I swear if he ever moves out of NYC - I will have to follow him!!
He is always super friendly, fun, never stuffy or uptight like my old salons.
The nolita location has a super hip vibe, but 57 is pretty cool too.

donna does really nice haircuts. also, ric's products are insane. the primer gives my straight hair a lot of texture and has no parabens or sulfates. and it smells like the beach!

Tucked away on a chic Nolita side street, Ric Pipino's flagship salon provides flashy celeb-endorsed cuts in an artsy downtown space. The industry vet, a local in the neighborhood, created the salon to feel like any one of the trendy lofts in the area; black Fendi styling chairs vie for attention with original artwork by photographer Ben Watts, among other artists. High-end versions of cuts and colors are provided, and for the truly glam, services with the man himself are also available (though with a correspondingly high price tag).
