Another overpriced yuppie haven...We came here for the first time to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the night we met... and were quite disappointed. First, the restaurant is dominated by the bar, and it sounds like it. While we didn't have to yell at each other to be heard, it wasn't too far from it. I can only imagine it when the college kids are there.
Crab salad appetizer was delicious. Always a good, friendly place to go.
Food is ALWAYS fantastic at FlatIron -- shrimp and grits and scallop entree are our favorites and go to dishes. Service was above and beyond. This was the first time we have been cold in the restaurant -- suggest bumping up the temp for the upcoming winter season!
Great place but we were seated next to the door and bar area so it was SO LOUD! Food was fantastic though.
We went to Flatiron over the Christmas at Davidson weekend. We made sure to be early for our reservation and were seated promptly. Unfortunately it took over an hour for our food to be served. The waitress told us it was because of the hold up on two of our steaks and we had to wait longer. We wanted at least kids meals to be out, they wouldn't send kids out ahead of time.
