Delicatessen Restaurant Review

Housed in what was a longtime diner, this scenester eatery is easy on the eyes. The corner location boasts walls that open up to the sidewalk while electronic-Euro tunes thump unobtrusively in the background. The menu attempts to conceptualize classic New York cuisine into yet-unheard-of dishes: cheeseburger spring rolls are more intriguing on paper than on the plate, while Lillian’s old...

Macbar Restaurant Review

Macaroni and cheese is the ultimate comfort food, so it makes sense that this restaurant comes from the same ownership as NoLIita's nouveau-diner Delicatessen. As one would expect, macaroni and cheese is the name of the game here. There are about 12 different varieties, all created by Michael Ferraro of Delicatessen. Among the options: lobster mac and cheese with Cognac, tarragon and...

NoLita is home to this wannabe "trendy" spot slinging "filling" Americana (e.g. "fantastic" mac 'n' cheese) in "minimalist" digs outfitted with retractable walls; cynics feel it "tries too hard", but concede that the staff is "pretty" and the downstairs bar "lively."

Remember the Raj in high style at this leather merchant's flagship in The Sherry-Netherland and new SoHo sidekick, which pay homage to the Crown's Ghurka regiments with luggage, briefcases and handbags that are tough as nails yet so "classy" you may hesitate to "let the airlines handle" them; even commoners who lament it's all "so expensive" still "like to look."

Indulge both inner child/late night cravings at Nolita mac 'n' cheese-only hole-in-the-wall. Dirty dozen options for the all-American classic includes cognac-infused mac lobsta'. Plop a seat in the tiny cheddar-yellow annex, or grab to go in macaroni-shaped carry-out case. Gimmicky? Sure. Delicious? Without a doubt.

Loved his place. So sad it suddenly closed!

The only star goes to Brenda the waitress... Horrible service... I asked before sitting and ordering a drink of our picky eaters from the restaurant next door would be allowed to join us, and we were told “sure, not a problem”. Then we were told the others had to leave because the pricing at the Macbar... which is next door and cooked in the same kitchen... was cheaper they couldn’t bring it...

This place is fabulous. Big shout out to Andres and staff for their kind hospitality and stellar recommendations today. The kale salad and 4 cheese mac n cheese was amazing! Great atmosphere as well. ?

It was delicious can’t wait to go back!❤️?

Food was great a lot of creative options. Downside it is a really small place so I would say it make a great pick up rather then stay and dine in
