Noisy but interesting menu and good food

All of the patrons were seated in the bar section where a large table with a noisy child dominated the ambience. The restaurant section was not used but would have been much nicer. Potato cake was very oily but filet was tasty. Husband loved his meal and his birthday dessert was on the house....very nice of them. Menu is a bit limited.

This was our second time dining at Bacaro. If you want to feel like you're dining in an upscale Chicago restaurant without the Chicago prices, then this is the place to go. Service was second to none. The waitress was attentive without being intrusive. When we mentioned that it was our anniversary, we were treated to a glass of champagne each on the house. Other than the OUTRAGEOUS prices for everything on the menu, this place has the most legitimate fine dining in Champaign-Urbana.
