The noodle soups at this spiffy little lunch spot are among the best in Chinatown, topped with Cantonese roast meats plucked from the window. Add shrimp dumplings to the broth for a truly substantial meal in a bowl.
First, I'll agree that the place isn't sparkling clean (although current health grade is 'A') by any measure. However, cooking area is in the open for anyone to see and it's not bad either.
Now, the food is pretty darn good. Casseroles are not very special, somewhat plain, but filling and good for any "picky eaters" who may be tagging...
