People speaking cantonese to one another, and really down-to-earth cantonese food. Can't go wrong in this place. The bee hoon and noodles were tasty and worth the wait for a table at this small diner. A great place to start the day!
Exceptional baked goods with an authentic taste in Chinatown. This is a must stop when visiting NYC and I recommend Gai Me Bao pastry bread filled with coconutty creamy goodness. A container of 6 pastries was only $2.50! One for you and five for the fun people you will meet as you explore Chinatown.
Typical Chinese bakery, they have hot, prepared foods in the front of the restaurant, I usually walk by and look in the window for the hot items that they have on sale for lunch that day.
