Name sounds like the setting for a noir murder mystery, which is about right given classic Deco styling inside. Channels ‘20s Paris with Greenwich Village allure. Quirky touches like rotary phones and analog clock radios. Lux accents (ebony, marble, and leather), with room prices to match. A lot more personable than a faceless midtown tower, though. Stayed at the Walker for a girls' weekend that included dinner at the James Beard House (just a 5 minute walk). Great service, great retro art deco look. Clean room and bathroom.
