Help us make it rightNow that New York State's wine industry is in full flower, SoHo has gained a wonderful addition in the Vintage New York Wine Bar. With 56 seats on two levels, including a balcony that overlooks the tasting room, it is a stylish and comfortable room. Featuring more than 200 wines by the glass, Vintage New York additionally has a creative menu of wine-friendly food at very reasonable prices....
The Scene
This airy space abandons the cozy wine bar formula for a simple, functional style. The light wood tables, clean-lined banquettes and metal-mesh tower of wine all recall Swedish...
Vintage New York has any kind of wine you can think of. We were looking for a good lambrusco and the staff was great at helping us try a new...
Was hands down my favorite bar. Amazing staff, amazing wine, amazing service. Still searching for another wine bar...
It is no surprise that both NYC Vintage locations have closed and I take some pleasure in seeing it happen. If you ever encounter either of the owners you will experience two of the most egotistical and condescending people known to man. I have seen how they treat their employees, business associates and customers. What goes around comes around. Note to the owners: you are not fooling anyone. It is SO obvious that you write the good reviews. Respect is the ultimate currency. Do you even remember when you lost sight of that?

The ladies and I thought wed spoil ourselves with a night on the town, without the hubbies. As we strutted ourselves up the street we passed Vintage and thought we drop in. Its kind of trendy but we thought were still trendy in our old fashioned kinda way. Well let me tell you the afternoon brunch turned in to an evening of laughs, wine and nibblies. We had an amazing time and will be visiting there again real soon without the hubbies.... Thank you for the great afternoon/ evening !!
where you can sample any of the wines you see on the floor. In addition to the exquisite reds, whites and sparkling wines, unusual ports and ice wines are worth a try. Another bonus: The shop is open seven days a week.
Even eats are completely local. Try the Nettle Meadow Fromage Blanc, drizzled in delicious beehive-to-bottle honey and served in sushi-like rolls with a fresh mint spring center.
A new glass is selected weekly for a $5 special. Five tastes are $5 at the store's communal tasting counter.
Shop for wine accompaniments and gifts at the store, from cute glass tags to elaborate scent recognition kits.
