Very old school neighborhood Italian. Food is fresh and good, solid, but not great. Portions are large. Ambiance is dated and background music is really questionable. My main complaint is that at the end of the meal I took the bill that contained the items I ordered for expenses purposes and they got upset. They wouldn't let me leave until I found it. I thought it would turn into a nasty scene....

Even though Open Table changed our time from the 6PM we had originally reserved to 7PM for some reason, Villa Mosconi accommodated us without a problem. As always, great overall experience, from the cocktail to dinner and wine, everything was great.

I wanted to find a restaurant near the comedy cellar in Greenwich Village, picked it off open table. 5 people in our party and we were all happy with the selection. Great find and would go back again.
