Sleek without a drop of the pretension one might expect in TriBeCa, this inviting eatery offers classic dishes and a glimpse of Vietnam’s colonial past. We love eating here. Food is always fresh and dishes are great for all types of eaters. In love with their coconut noodle soup & husband had stew, which was very good!
We love it and our friends said they'd be happy to come down to our nabe once a week for VCafe. Love the food, love the servers, just grateful to have it in the neighborhood.
Service was a little slow considering how empty the restaurant was, but the food was great.
An attractive, comfortable place with nice service. But... it would be hard to find blander, more boring Vietnamese food. The Applebee's of Vietnamese food. There were certainly no Vietnamese eating there when we went. Avoid.
Fun food, authentic and somewhat novel. Good value food, but wine was overpriced.

Modern and vibrant, the woman on the massive billboard at Hanoi airport welcomes travelers with enthusiasm and a view toward the expansive, colorful land that is today’s Viet Nam. It is this powerful image, chosen by Owner and Chef Lan Tran Cao, that you first encounter at the entrance to Tribeca’s VietCafé. It is the perfect representation of all that is contemporary about the restaurant, and...
