The atmosphere at Grey Goose is very nice. The interior is a reuse of an 1800s apothecary. Fabulous wood and authentic decor. Of course the food is very good, but the house-made dessert is what would bring me running back.

Grey Goose used to be an ambitious, upscale restaurant, Varden's, that enjoyed an excellent reputation for fine dining but did not succeed. Grey Goose is the downscale successor. Less ambitious with sandwiches and pizza along with some fancier entrees. Our meal was very good and we found this to be the best of the rather limited dinning choices in Paris....

This restaurant is now the Grey Goose, which is also located in Midway and Lexington. After having had lunch at the Midway location, I tried the Paris location for dinner. The tossed salad with roasted chicken slices was good-sized and fresh. Good selection of beer, including draft beers, but the wine list is so-so and pretty much limited to California...

This is a nice restaurant in a nice town. My wife liked her steak and I enjoyed the Greek pizza. The Stella Artois was cold and served in an attractive glass. Overall this was a very pleasant experience.

The shrimp dish was so spicy and this was not mentioned in the menu. We were very disappointed since we couldn't enjoy our food. There was only 1 other table of dinner guests. This should have tipped us off on a Saturday night that something was wrong.
