Got a same day referral from Livermore VA to go to ValleyCare ER due to stomach problems.Dr. Yoshioka basically called me a liar and said there was no referral sent over and refused to help me. I asked if he could call the VA to clear up the issue,he refused. He was more focused on accusing me of being a patient that didnt need to be there than taking a step back and actually listening to me....
Wife and I came here to the ER with a referral from her primary physician at the Livermore VA. Spent over 3 hours here just to be told that they dont do endoscopy at the ER and there was no referral in the system, continued on to talk about how the VA should know better etc etc. not only did he waste our time, his hospitals time, he was even competent enough to call another department to check...
This doctor's office is over billing me. Dr Kan is an in network physician with Cigna. Cigna EOB tells me that I owe the doctor only 22.72, whereas the doctor's office continues to bill 870.56, even though multiple attempts were made both by me and my insurance to get them to correct the billed amount.
Would leave zero stars if I could. He was totally rude, disrespectful, and sarcastic. Ask for another doctor if possible. Such a jerk.
Dr. Kan is an arrogant ER doctor that thinks he knows more than every other doctor. He jumps to conclusions without doing research. He is narrow minded, immature and simply plain rude. Do yourself a big favor and see any other doctor than Dr. Edward Y. Kan.
