Called and asked for a quote. Someone took the details and promised to get back when they got the pricing. Never heard from her. A month later I drove over there and met with Al. Gave him the details. He said he'd call me with the pricing. Never heard back. It would help if they called and said "we can't help you" and recommend another shop. To not call back is unprofessional.

I am a 38 year contractor and am about as good as you can get in getting the best price for my customers. Regarding Valley Sash, the reason I go there is for the value, as they have saved me so much by having great depth of experience. I have a specialty in finish carpentry, especially windows and doors, and what I don't know, they do. Saves time, resolves problems, and keeps me from ""buying"" extra windows and doors or supplying customers with less than what want.
