great experience. friendly staff and the ship and planes are amazing.
This place is great! The guides are really good at their jobs!
Really great visitor attraction. Excellent museum that has been restored with a great deal of thought. Would thoroughly recommend anyone to visit this and spend the day. There is so much to see you can spend all day there. And the volunteers, mostly ex-Navy personnel, really know their stuff and are very friendly and helpful. Five star visit.
Excellent experience learning about the ship and it’s history. Lots of hands on stuff for older kids. While I did see elevators, some of the areas have low ceiling (6’) and many ladders and bulkheads to navigate through. May be a little difficult if mobility restricted. Kudos to the many people that served on the ship over its many years in service. Oh by the way - it’s huge!

They also loved that you could try the beds in the berths out, touch the switches, sit in the Boss’s chair and get really close to the aircraft. Really informative tour, some bits incredibly moving, some bits funny but really good to...
