About Us The Trocadero Theatre, listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, will intrigue partygoers with its long, colorful past. National acts frequently perform beneath the timeworn vaulted ceilings of this once-ornate house of vaudeville and burlesque. In addition, shows by brash rock, Goth, and punk acts are featured. Monday is movie night, with big-screen showings and seasonal flicks.

The 120-year-old Trocadero Theatre regularly features live music acts and dance club nights with DJs. Every Monday is also movie night.

The Troc hosts a variety of eclectic events throughout the week which can include Movie Monday, the Zombie Prom and comedy nights, as well has national and local live performances like Talib Kweli and Method man. The venue has a capacity of 1,200 and the balcony which caters to local bands holds 250.

During the Troc's all-ages shows, the over-21 crowd trudges upstairs to sit and relax with a drink while the kids rough each other up on the floor below. The Balcony books bands several nights a week, with a few local groups usually closing out the night upstairs after a big show below.
