Convenient to the action without being smack in the middle of it is King & Grove, a sleek new hotel with a sister property in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The expansive lobby, with its small bar and abundance of comfortable chairs and couches, is a convenient meeting place and a good option for a drink before you head out on the town. Guest rooms are modern, with clean lines and mostly white decor...

LOLA is just right for bargain-hunting travelers looking for a splash of style with an affordable price tag. The design-conscious tone is set in the loftlike industrial-modern lobby. Rooms are mostly on the smallish side but do the trick for those who intend to spend their days out on the town rather than holed up here. Configurations are split between twin/twins (great for friends), queens,...

A chic hotel entering the escalating designer hotel fray in an otherwise un-fabulous stretch of Murray Hill (The Ace, The Carlton and The Gansevoort Park are all close neighbors), the Hotel LOLA is a more glittery alternative to the competition’s less flamboyant charms. Susan Jacques’ lobby design drips with drama, a massive mirror-ball chandelier presiding over a darkly elegant lobby (velvet...

Good location but too many other negatives

When we arrived, we were placed in a room with one king size bed (I booked a room type with "multiple beds" because there are 5 of us, 2 adults, 3 kids). And by the way I had called earlier in the day to say we were arriving late! When I went back to desk, the other staff member had told us that room type was sold out and that was only room they had and could change us and would change us the...

The king size room was a lot bigger than it looked on the pictures which was great! The shower was also very large and could've even fit a bath tub in which would of been good to soak after a long day of sight seeing. It had a good selection of channels on the tv (not that we watched it...

This was our first time in NYC and we were very excited when finally arriving at our hotel after hours of travelling.
The entrance to the hotel is very disappointing and you have to look twice to see the door. Upon walking in you find yourself thrust into a very noisy restaurant. To a weary traveller, this can be a...

Great Location and lovely place to stay but is having a name change in April

My daughter and I had 3 nights here in a suite. It was clean, roomy and well appointed. The bonus is that the Restaurant Marta is on the ground floor. We could walk everywhere but were also near Penn Station and another subway station. For us it was a wonderful location. Staff were both very friendly and helpful.

Small Room

If the room rates were the same size at the rooms it would be a good deal.
This hotel is good as long as only one person stays.
There is no chair at the desk only a stool. Not comfortable for a business trip.
The room was clean. No extras offered, a coffee maker in the room would have been...
