Delicious and delightful

This was my husband's and my first visit, and we were so happy we went. The owners were welcoming, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the wine and food (braised beef, macaroni a gratin, and a special chard tart) were superb. Will be back soon with friends.

Delicious and down to earth

Such a treasure

I was so excited to try Thirstbaravin after reading the other reviews on this site. It truly did not disappoint. The food was exceptional and the atmosphere warm. The friendly and attentive staff even put a birthday candle (sans hokey birthday singing)

Quality factor

Indeed, this place is a little out of the way, but the food is truly amazing. The ingredients down to the olive oil are of the highest quality. Preparation is simple and delicious. Of course this is a wine bar though... the wine is very very good.. they

Fantastic for a nice meal in the neighborhood.

This restaurant--though in a somewhat desolate location--is absolutely terrific. Well prepared, sophisticated food, great wine list, stylish decor, and super nice owners. If you live in Prospect Heights, Crown Heights, Clinton Hill, For Greene or Bed Stuy
