SuperCool Place in E Village/Chinatown

We loved the Ludlow. If you want to be in this part of town it’s a great destination. The rooms are nice and clean, and the place is pretty happening. The bar, lounge, restaurant and sitting areas are all very nice. As with most NYC hotels, the rooms are a bit cozy, so we stayed in a small suite, which was great. I’d also recommend not staying on a higher floor as I heard people who did...

Great Hotel in the LES

I spent three nights here in January in a sky box loft on the 18th floor. View was pretty good looking further downtown & west. The room had a small lounge area which definitely made the room feel spacious and had a couple of small closets to hang clothes etc. I found the room to be a little too dark, even with all the lights on and on the 18th floor - I get the look they are going for but...

Stylish decor - underwhelming customer service

We stayed for a few nights just before Christmas. The decor is very cool both bar/lounge and (small) bedrooms/bathrooms. We really liked the area - trendy and authentic neighbourhood which is well placed for covering a lot of Manhattan on foot. But extremely noisy at night - definitely ‘the city that never sleeps’. We had breakfast in Dirty French (in the hotel) one morning which was over...

A NYC Favorite

We love this hotel. Everything is well appointed. The lobby and restaurant areas are chic without making one feel inadequate. The room are nice. This last visit we stayed in a Ludlow double which had a king and a queen sized beds and loved it. The neighborhood is awesome. Must try.

It was disappointing to find that 1 room (our daughter's) had no natural light - it was like an anteroom to the front, where we stayed. That's a little primitive for this day and age. It was certainly clean enough, a...
