The Brooklyneer is a new gastropub in NYC’s West Village that focuses on the emerging food and drink artisans from Brooklyn. We feature a wide selection of draft beers, hand-crafted cocktails, beer flights, take-home growlers, tasty Brooklyn fare, and an impressive small batch whiskey selection.
A restaurant that brings the far-off flavors of exotic, strange Brooklyn to an uninitiated and confused Lower Manhattan.
718 into the 212. Er, 646. Brooklyn-themed bar saves Manhattanites the trouble of a trip across the river. Artisanal BK on display, from Brooklyn Brine pickles to Acme whitefish to Mama O's kimchee. Sixpoint, Brooklyn, and Coney Island on tap. Of course. Dim, comfy space, with Coney Island boardwalk wood on the bar, cool photo booth in back. Wallpaper looks like it might be a fit for Brownstone...
This place becomes very popular and loud during happy hour being next to Houston Hall. However, I recommend it more for brunch since it is quite. Their pickles and deviled eggs are a must.
They're on OpenTable but it's just a neighborhood bar with not very good food.
I've only ever gone to The Brooklyneer for after work drinks and small plates but decided to try it for lunch. It was very quiet and my friend and I were the only ones in the bar. I can't speak for service when it's crowded but the bartender was really great and friendly. The food was definitely worth it and the cocktails were delicious. Definitely recommend this place for brunch.
Went for happy hour with my co workers. Had a good time. Service was good drinks were good just didn't like their food menu. Different and kind of complicated especially after a long week and a few drinks. Will be back soon!
I wanted to try more Brooklyn wines but only ONE is available by the glass. The others are only available by the bottle and I was the only wine drinker in our group. A place called The Brookyneer should offer ALL Brooklyn wines by the glass to encourage more people to try them.
