It's "been in Park Slope since the beginning of time" (well, 1921), and this "local" "throwback" remains a cherished resource given its "wide selection" of "basic" hardware, tools, paint and gardening supplies shoehorned into a "small space"; its "old-fashioned" values include "hands-on" service from a "generally knowledgeable and friendly" staff – "if you don't see it, they'll find it."

"They could use elasticized walls" at this "tiny", locally owned Slope fixture that's "stuffed" till seemingly "on the verge of bursting" with a "useful selection" of "fine" kitchen and household goods, from cookware and utensils to bath products; yes, it's a bit "disorganized", but "dig a lot and you'll find" anything you "absolutely need" – "for a price."

I like this store even though it doesn't have the best prices. The stuff is marked up compared to Target but if you live in the neighbourhood it's very convenient. I've picked up all sorts of odds and ends for my gardening activities and home improvement projects.The staff is also attentive and makes sure that you are looked after.
