Good Sushi. Lovely little restaurant. We sat at the bar and ordered based on our chefs recommendation. The Yellowtail was fresh and delicious but the special boxed sushi was absolutely incredible. The Mackerel was nothing special and pricey, two pieces cost me about $7.95. Miso soup was also good and service was friendly.

The food and service here are absolutely amazing! I consider myself a beer snob and a sushi snob. I adore both almost equally. As far as sushi is concerned, I am sorry that I ever ate here. Only because now every other Japanese restaurant that I visit (even those that I thought were the BEST) will be sub-par. And I'm visiting San Diego and don't know if/when I'll be back. This place is situated in the middle of the Gaslamp. Accordingly, they provide folks with an upscale and trendy place to grab some sushi, sashimi or sake. The atmosphere is minimalist so as to not take away from the delight of the food.
