Went during Happy Hour on a Friday before it turned into a club. Super fun atmosphere and tasty Sangria.

Went yesterday to bring in my birthday and had the time of my life dancing and drinking white sangria. I've gone before just to chill and enjoy whine but Fridays turn in to the club. Elbow room only. The bar was pretty busy but we waited it out because I knew that the drinks were strong and had been …

My favorite place to go when in Gaslamp. The drinks are good and decently priced and good music. Location is where the Melting Pot is. There's a person checking ID's and then you make your way down the stairs. Find the door!Went here early in the night to start off at about 1030PM or so. There were a lot of …

Checked this place out for the first time on a Saturday night from about 8-10:30 PM. I was on a date and Vin de Syrah turned out to be a perfect venue for us. Comfortable ambiance. We snagged a big double-wide barstool 'couch' at the bar where we were attentively served. We arrived just ten minutes too …

Gratuity) good serving portions on the wines (3 very full) glasses. Beware make sure u eat before or during the tastings because …

Vin De Syrah offers sprits, unique beer and of course, an array of beautiful wines by the glass. if it’s a dirty martini, a frosty Chimay, or a smooth glass of Bordeaux, this is the chill out parlor for you.@syrahwineparlor

This New York-style club features just 14 smallish, velvet-lined booths which are normally booked weeks in advance for weekend nights after 10p. Food is primarily limited to appetizer-type platters to accompany the more serious business of drinking and dancing. Bottle table service is available for a pretty penny, and booths have a hefty minimum on weekends, The decor is an adult fantasy that...

What to Eat

They don't have a full menu per se, but their selection of cheese and meat boards come with lots of different toasts, tapenades and garnishes. Plenty to keep oenphiles full enough to keep ordering wine.

Know Before You Go

The door is completely hidden: Walk down the stairs directly in front of Dakotas, and turn to the left. Look for the door handle hidden in the ivy-covered wall.
