A well-edited selection of laid-back, yet luxurious basics for men and women.

Reminiscent of a giant walk-in closet, this Tribeca space stocks down-to-earth apparel destined to become the work and weekend favorites of stylish young professionals. Classic styles (button-down shirts, jeans, cords, and cashmere sweaters) are updated with modern cuts and playful patterns. Everything else you need to get well-dressed is here, from leather belts, shoes, bags and outerwear to pampering bath products and fanciful jewelry.

know the return policy before you buy!

They have a policy of only giving store credit within 14 days on full-price merchandise - and ALL sale items are FINAL SALE. That would have been fine if they'd told me about it before I purchased the item - when they pointed it out on the receipt it didn't do me much good.

I (very nicely) suggested to the manager that they warn people of the return policy BEFORE they've paid - this was greeted with blank looks and a condescending hipster attitude. Ugh!

Pros

+ good selection

Cons

- return policy and customer service

Great

One of the best selections this side of Barney's. Smallish, but the quality makes up for it. Rogan Jeans galore, Paper Denims, Levi Red's, United Bamboo. Great Stuff. Warning: There's almost nothing under $85.

Pros

+ They carry Rogans!, Great selection, Helpful Service

Cons

- Small, Pricey

Steven Alan, a loft boutique, stocks wearable and affordable merchandise, inspired by cutting-edge designs. It captures all the style of the neighborhood without the obnoxious attitude of some other stores there.
