Regret the day I let him do an ""extra surgery"" on my foot. I went for a plantar fasciitis. release, he did a 3 min diagnostic for a Neuroma, and charged 3 times as much for these simple extra procedure. I have been dealing with pain and discomfort that this unnecessary surgery left in my foot .

Beware of cortisone injections by Dr Horine

I initially saw Dr. Horine about two years ago for a pair of new orthotics to help with foot stabilization for my high arches. After wearing the orthotics for long hikes, I would had a tender spot on my foot. When I told him about this, he encouraged me to have a cortisone injection and assured me there were no side effects. He injected from the bottom of my foot and it was one of the most painful things in my life. Following the injection, I was unable to walk without extreme pain in the area he injected. Dr. Horine is wonderful and Dr. Austin gives shots that DON'T HURT!!!! A great team! – I went in for what I thought would be a frightful procedure but after Dr. Horine's careful examination and with Dr. Austin's sensitive and caring nature, I was not as fearful for surgery day. On the day of the surgery, Dr. Austin was absolutely fantastic! He had provided me everything possible so that I could feel the least pain and explained what he was doing along the way. I had the same procedure done before and the needles hurt like heck BUT Dr. Austin has been the only doctor whose needles DID NOT...
