Not a good place..."deferred maintenance" are the words of the day. Uncomfortable. Restaurant is not all that good either.

I read the previous person's review after I had already booked the Sheraton and I was very worried. The woman at the front desk explained that they recently went through a renovation so maybe that person got an unrenovated room. Fortunately, I was able to stay in a beautifully decorated and functional room. I even sorta had a view of Times Square. I'm not sure if the renovation is complete, so...

Finding a good hotel near Times Square is tough, but you should still get some comfort. The furniture was dingy and dangerous - I cut my arm on the desk chair. The TV quality and cable reception was incredibly poor. I had to power on the modem. The sink made loud noises when I turned on the water. But the worst was the room felt very warm.
