After work, I went with some friends to the Shamrock. It's a sports bar type restaurant located just off New Circle Road in Lexington. They have an extensive burger menu augmented by sandwiches and salads. I had the BBQ cheddar burger, one of my friends an ginormous club sandwich, another had the Irish Nachos, another the chicken apple salad and...
Great food. Love their sandwiches with chips, fries or tots. We go here every tuesday after band rehearsal and love the service....always make us feel welcome.
My daughter and I went here a couple times when I was visiting Lexington! Both times I got their Club Sandwich which was very good and the hamburgers are great too!
There are a lot of TVs for watching sports which is always a plus.

The ruben potato skins are yummy and the big O burgers and some of the best burgers I've ever had. Plus they offer the option to play Kino if you like. A favorite spot to go to!
I really like this place, as far as a sports bar goes.Great atmosphere, great service, great food, reasonably priced and good selection of drinks...Both times I've went, it's been pretty busy....
