I think the LivingEasy training was very insightful and opened my eyes to really see how things were going on around me. I applied these techniques at work and at home as well.
It changed my thought processes and helps me to think through things first, especially at work. I have eliminated so much stress that others have made very positive compliments to me on how much I have changed and it certainly reflected on my year end appraisal. I’ve been involved in other weight control programs, but this one, by far, is outstanding. To learn how to eat, how to acknowledge my C/O behavior and to handle them has given me new freedom and control over my life.
I’ve tried every diet you can think of: Atkins, South Beach, Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, The Cabbage Soup Diet, High protein, low carb, no carb, no fat, and a countless number of pills that claim to make you lose weight, block the fat, block the carbs, suppress my appetite, or raise my metabolism. None of them worked. I’d start off excited and committed and by week two I would feel deprived and start nibbling here and there until I was back to bingeing. I have lost weight with every diet I tried, only to gain it back faster than I lost it…while the weight was lost it apparently made friends because it usually brought a few extra pounds along with it when it returned! After the introduction and the orientation I knew this program was different. This program actually made sense! By the time I logged on for session one I was committed and excited BUT it was different than all the times before. THIS WASN’T A DIET! Living Lean wasn’t telling me what I couldn’t eat, what I had to do, or what I couldn’t do. There were no pills or powders, no magic potions, no gimmicks or tricks. It was all about choice. But to summarize it all, this program truly does what it promises to do. If you follow the instructions your mind will train and your body will heal.
I am now an ex-muncher and do not eat before bed. My drink of choice is unsweetened iced tea, with nothing in it! My favorite desert…fresh fruit!
