When we visited NYC in August of 2012, we ate at the Bowery location for lunch and continue to this day to reminisce about the pizza we ate. Forcella was not what I expected. I went for a drink and appetizer after the Halloween parade. I ordered a side car, which was good actually, and my mom had a glass of Riesling. We ordered the arancini and it wasn't bad but it also isn't something to write home about. It's a super tiny bar/restaurant and I can't imagine...

Worthy of a visit

Forcella is a nice Italian restaurant worthy of a visit.
The décor is cool and eclectic. The music was pulsing, giving the place a hip energy.
The host put us at a nice table. We tried an appetizer (mozzarella with smoked prosciutto) that I'd recommend. Our son's pasta was quite good. The two pizza's were both excellent.
