I am not "lower income" and I shop here regularly. I find the store to be cleaner than most Kroger stores. The produce is fine and I've had no problem with canned goods. I don't eat meat, so I can't comment. Nevertheless, I think it's one of the best deals in town and I recommend it.

I know lots of lower income families who swear by this store, but I cannot stand it. The store is tiny, dimley lit, and dirty. They don't take coupons, their cans are always dented, and their meat is beyond disgusting. Ick.
