Decent hotel. Needs some paint and updating. Nice pool and lounge on site.
Chose this hotel because of its location to a dive center. Hotel is dated and room basic. Housekeeping was very inconsistent and far from thorough. Often found things not done or overlooked. Restaurant staff great and food mediocre. The only winner was the Rusty Hook restaurant located at the hotel with some great dishes on the menu
Fun place to stay with nightly entertainment. Rooms are spacious with great views of both the ocean and waterways.
Beware: This is a party resort. It gets very noisy at night! LOUD live music 'till 11am. Bar open 'till 2am. We were unable to sleep half the night due to very loud noise from the poo/deck/ bar area. Not family friendly. Pool area only had 5 lounge chairs and was filled with drinkers. Staff did their best to move us into another room, which turned out better, but was still very noisy at night....
We enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed dining at the patio area. We never got the opportunity to eat in the mail dining room. I would have preferred a room with black out drapes as the sun was quite bright in the am and we like to sleep in. The bed was no so comfortable but tolerable. Room could use some upgrades and repairs.
