This veterinary office is so close to my apartment that it's easy when by dog has a problem, but I keep swearing I'll never go back, and really won't this time. It's so expensive that I never get out of there with a bill less than $500. They always recommend tests that my dog doesn't need and guilt you into them. Long wait and high charges for routine procedures

I spend 3 hours there, and it wasn't even crowded the day of my appt. And I showed up on time. Then came the bill for tests, etc. that was almost $500. I love my cat, but this seemed excessive. Plus, I'm pretty sure they recommended unnecessary tests. Since then, I've found a talented, loving vet who charges about half what St Marks charges.\t\nIf you have an exotic pet, perhaps it's worth it...
