Very convenient hotel

We liked the hotel because it is well kept and it is close to most of the attractions, the River Walk, French Quarter etc.

It pays to get slightly off the beaten path. The Omni doesn't look like much from the outside, but it has every amenity you could ask for during a New Orleans vacation.

Above all, consistently impressed with staff. Always courteous, extraordinary effort to be friendly, helpful. Great location.
Find parking fees for overnight burdensome....but apparently, comparable to others. Bath was not possible to draw, because the knob for the shower was imbedded and I could not remove. I'm sure I could have had the engineer fix it, but didn't have time to fool with it....

Very nice hotel, near to everything, staff was amazing, room was clean and comfy, though I found some stains on the carpet but only in the closet area, I suppose it is normal as shoes are normally dirty.
