Welcome to Raymi, a modern Peruvian restaurant as dynamic as the country it celebrates. Raymi captures the multicultural spirit of Peru, blending the Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, and native influences that embody the country’s vibrant cuisine. The flavors are once familiar, adventurous, unexpected.
The Raymi experience revolves around a central Ceviche Bar, offering fresh...
Last Year, The New York Times' Sam Sifton lauded Nuela, a 200-seat sleekly designed South American restaurant in Manhattan's Flatiron district as having one of the best dishes of 2010 -- the arroz con pato, a duck paella. Helmed by Adam Schop, a native New Yorker, this celebrated chef prepares each dish at Nuela with an ambitious twist to tantalize even the most discerning New York palate....

Raymi, the latest venture from Latin American restaurateur Richard Sandoval, opened in the Flatiron District two weeks ago. Since then, diners have been quick to weigh in on the restaurant's upscale Peruvian menu, which includes several ceviches and dishes like arroz con pato and cod cau cau. Early reviews have been largely positive, especially when it comes to the ceviches and wide...
Pan-Latino cevicheria out to prove "urban sabor" isn't just some creepy online dating term. Vaguely Vegas space loves its ruby reds, with hot-toned chairs, banquettes, fabric dividers. Petite cacti as centerpieces, setting the tone for South American delicacies. Creative ceviche: salmon and green apple horseradish, hamachi and sour orange basil, toro and tangerine mustard oil. Also empanadas,...
It’s a tough time to open a big restaurant, but Nuela has passion, energy and ¡olé! to spare. The walls and art are electric orangey red; the leather banquettes and chairs, fiery reddish orange....
I was in NYC on a girls' trip with some family, and Raymi was just what we were looking for. We had share-able cerviches and tapas and got our own larger entree as well. The flavors were unique and original, and they had a lot of options for the gluten-free diners in our party. Would definitely recommend this to a friend!
Overpriced and not anywhere close to other peruvian restaurants I have been to.
The food is decent, nothing spectacular though. The skirt steak with chimichurri was good, but the steak itself was chewy. The cocktails are mediocre at best and wine list is so so. Service is good, and ambiance is nice.
Very happy with the service and quality of the food, for the price. I would go back !
Great Service, Amazing Service. I would definitely go back and tell all my friends about it

Nuela is a 200-seat Nueva-Latina restaurant from Executive Chef Adam Schop. Nuela brings a taste of South America to the Flatiron District in New York City, combining the excitement and energy of South American cuisine and décor with a modern, urban sabor.
It’s a tough time to open a big restaurant, but Nuela has passion, energy and ¡olé! to spare. The walls and art are electric orangey red; the leather banquettes and chairs, fiery reddish orange. Several years in the making, the nuevo Latin spot specializes in refined, high-end versions of South American specialties, including close to 20 types of ceviche. Executive chef Adam Schop splits the menu into eight categories, designed to be shared, family-style. Picos, the smallest bites, range from matahambre (duck terrine and quail egg) to foie gras croquetas. The largest offering is a whole...
With a capacity of 200 seats, Nuela has room to spare. Booths let you see how the other half eats, while massive communal tables make it easy to hang out and split one of the whole animal dinners with several of your closest friends.
Wondering about the name? Nuela is actually a truncated version of the restaurant?s cuisine, nuevo Latino. Now you know.
The items on the Para Dos Personas menu are meant to be shared, including chuleta de buey (a 2.5-pound rib eye accompanied by bone marrow) and the arroz con pato (green rice prepared with a soft duck egg, confit thighs and roasted foie gras).
