Went with wife and 8 year old. Been here before a couple of times, but it's been 2 years. Went with the Hot Brown, a Kentucky specialty. We went for dinner and had a choice of "meat and three" (One type of meat and three side dishes). I got a tenderloin steak and it was cooked beautifully--like something at a steakhouse but well under 15 dollars with the side dishes. I would definitely go back.
Recently my wife and I were with a large group of relatives, and we ate at Ramsey's Diner. It's mu understanding that they have several locations in the Lexington area. My family and I have been here to eat several times. They have great food and great service. It's a cozy place.
Ate after reading trip advisor reviews. This is a nice place, pleasant atmosphere, standard American food with over sized portions.
All in all a decent place but I prefer a little more variety and flavor profiles. My personal preference. If you want a good meal at a fair price and a full belly this is the place.
