Piedmont Restaurant Review

Celebrating the fresh produce and artisanal goods of Carolina’s Piedmont region, this restaurant changes its menu daily. On any given evening, one may find dishes like potato-cottage cheese croquettes with a tomato coulis, pan-fried mahi mahi with purple cabbage slaw and a spicy aïoli, or pesto-crusted heritage chicken with red chili pan jus and red turnips. The cheese plate features selections...

Rustic-style Italian served up in an industrial-style setting.

In Short
Italy's Piedmont meets North Carolina's Piedmont with the best of both showcased in locally sourced ingredients and Italian country dishes. Exposed ductwork, leather banquettes,...

So today after already having a issue with the app. I finally get to order I always order my pizza without sauce due to an allergy I have with marinara sauce. The website didn’t give me a special request box. As soon as the order went through after telling me it was between 1hr-1.5hr wait time I called less than 2 minutes to the store located on hey 54 spoke to the lady told her the situation...

Your service SUCKS. I ordered my food and it said it was out for delivery at 6:08 ONE HOUR LATER AND MY FOOD HASNT CAME YET. Get it together

Sent my significant other to pick up my Order & it was supposed to be ready at 930. Got there at 930 & it took him 30 mins to get my order. My pizza was WRONG, the bbq sauce was dripping out of the wing bowl, & the pasta along with everything else was cold, & I only live 10 mins away. Called (1st time phone rang 100 times, had to call back) to let them know & the girl who answers says I haven’t...

A while back, I ordered a pizza and it was incorrect. They sent a new one. Also incorrect. Called back, calmly explained the situation, and the manager hung up on me. I vowed not to order again. Gabe them one more chance tonight. The pizza showed up over 30 minutes late. It was cold and completely crushed. Never again, Pizza Hut.

Thank you once again for being a huge disappointment. Not only did your drive deliver my food an hour after he left. He delivered it incomplete, and even when I call to inquire where your delivery driver is, all I get is a he left an hour ago so he should of been there by now, thirty minutes later they finally arrive. I guess my business is better served to your competitors.

News & Observer food critic Greg Cox says: An off-the-beaten-path location hasn't deterred knowledgeable foodies from finding this downtown Durham eatery, and packing it nightly. You really can't go wrong when ordering from the nightly evolving menu of rustic Italian and French bistro fare, but by all means don't miss the risotto with black truffles if it's available. Same goes for the...
