I had a great meal at Pho 66 when it first opened - the beef salad with mango was particularly delicious, as is the Pho - you can customize the soup, because hot peppers and other ingredients are presented on the side, so you can add as much or as little as you want. I can't wait to go back and try some of the non-Pho, rice-based dishes. They have a full bar and really interesting dessert...
Our starters were relatively decent (papaya salad and beef lettuce wrap), but I made the mistake of ordering the jungle curry. The inept waitress, who told me it was coconut based, had clearly never tried the dish - it arrived at the table, a bunch of chopped up veggies in a sauce akin to tepid dishwater (in texture, taste, and color). I complained to the waitress who didn't bother to exchange...
What a great restaurant! The food is fresh and delicious, service was wonderful. A great addition to the neighborhood.
Had a late evening meal here after a busy day sightseeing. Service and surroundings were okay. Never had Vietnamese food before, so it was all a new experience, there were several vegetarian options available, the food was well presented and arrived quickly but it was not really to my taste. Though maybe we didn't know enough to order the right...
Service was really good, attentive and the place looks clean. Unfortunately the food was too bland. The food totally lacked any taste.
