The food at this local spot has been pretty good, but the service is ok at best. We were one of 4 couples but had to pour our own wine, ask for our salad plates to be removed and ask for our check. We didn't feel cared for.

When I was lucky enough to work in Europe for a year, I sought out small restaurants with personality and ambiance. And found it easily on many many streets and back-alleys there.
And I found it right here at home, on 2nd Avenue....in one of the precious hideaway gems of this city, at Cortina. The food is simply tastefully completely freshly prepared, never frozen, simply fresh. And it surely...
