The technician from Paschall Plus came to my house and charged $1065.70 to install a shower valve (provided by us) and to make the final connection for an under-sink water filter. $500+ an hour- nice wages if you can get an idiot (like me!) to pay it. The next plumber installed the shower fixtures and a shower valve in the other bathroom - $270.00. I'm sure P+ did a perfectly good job, but...

Double the price. I paid the $129 diagnostic fee and they said my blower motor seized and needed to be replaced. Quoted me a price of $550-750. We all know that it would be closer to the $750 price when it was installed.(That's a sales trick that a lot of companies use). I told the tech I was going to get a second opinion.
