Exclusivity is not a proper word to describe the experience in this place. They have different kinds of stuff here, from paperbacks to children books, so the place is always crowded, which is a good thing.

Paperbacks Plus is moving to Garland!

This is one of my favorite neighborhood haunts, but that's over now. They are closing this location and moving to Garland Road. Our loss, their gain. I hardly go over that way, and doubt if I'll be making special trips to do so.

The name is changing, too. They are going to be known as Lucky Dog Books, and the new address is 10801 Garland Road. The sign on the door says that they're moving over to the new location gradually, but it is open, and this one is now closed.

This store has lots of rooms and lots of great people ready to help you find what you are looking for. They also put free books outside that you can pick up. I have never left without purchasing an item. You can also trade in books for a great savings. I have my favorite sections but it is also fun to just wander through the rooms looking at titles.
