Although you'll find Outback Steakhouses in shopping malls all over America, this location in the Flatiron District seems to work mostly because of other shopping mall venues right nearby, such as Home Depot, Best Buy, and Olive Garden. While the dark, cavelike interior might work better in a mall, there is no argument that the steaks, in particular the filet mignon, are not at all bad. While...

Enjoyed a reasonably priced 4-course meal. Good locale and comfortable seating. Food prepared well and tasted good. My Server was very pleasant and helped me with my selection. My food was brought to me expeditiously. I arrived hungry and departed satisfied.

This was one of my worst meals in memory. The meat was cold and 40% fat. The service was non existent. If you have a dog, it might be a good place to pick up a treat.
