Very good crab bisque, No Newman

Cool place to get some soup, especially for a tourist. The crab bisque was quite tasty, and had an ample portion of Alaskan crab meat. The service is much better than on Seinfeld.

On a cold winters day, the soup from this place is the best medicine. Theres a variety of soup to choose from, including the lobster bisque which is to die for. And unlike George Costanza (whose picture is on the wall of the shop), you get free bread, a banana and a chocolate candy and you got a good meal...

Since my son and I are Seinfeld fans and this place was within walking distance of our hotel we decided to stop. We both ordered the Lobter Bisque ($10 for a large). I had a bad cold and couldn't taste anything, but I still tasted the Tomato Bisque soup from this famous street walk-up restaurant. Piping hot, small vegetable chunks, deep tomato flavor penetrated my congestion. Great comfort food. My companion had the minestrone, she reported it as some of the best soup she'd ever eaten.
