Welcome to the new Tribeca Japanese theme restaurant based on the partly fictional story of ninja history. The space is dramatic and incredible. There's no dining room -- instead, follow a dark and labyrinthine path manned by wait staff in full-on ninja garb to your table, housed in a private dojo, where you'll choose from tasting menus featuring...
This is my kind of restaurant. Very interactive, very unique dishes, we even had a "ninja" come up to our table and do some fascinating magic tricks. Pricy but worth it.
With "jumping ninjas and a roaming magic act", they really "go all out" at this "gimmicky" TriBeCa theme joint done up "like a Japanese village" in feudal times; it's "fun for kids", but grown-ups' opinions vary ("naff" vs. a "blast") – most agree you'll "shell out" for only "so-so" eats.
You'll remember a night out at Ninja. The restaurant itself is designed to resemble an eighteenth-century Japanese village. Moreover, signature dishes include oven-grilled black cod and lobster tempura encrusted with rice cubes and served with dashi sauce and edamame rice; and steak with teriyaki sauce, fried risotto, and Alaskan king crab served with tomato mango sauce.
Enter into a maze of ninja tunnels and closed-off dining nooks to be served by guys dressed like secretive warriors. Enjoy the kitsch, don't come for the food (overpriced, no matter how you look at it) and take advantage of the specialty cocktails...it's part of the experience. Great for a first date, if you're in extreme need of lightening the mood.

This $3.5 million, 6,500-square-foot lavish setting features waiters in Ninja garb serving up diverse offerings as well as expensive prix-fixe menus. Time will tell whether this ninja can conquer New York, but the initial reports are that the horrifyingly overpriced food...

Wow! Just wow! Fun experience, impressive presentation and the food was amazing. We expected dessert to be good as well, even though we were disappointed a little. We'll definitely go back real soon!

Eating at the ninja restaurant has amazing. We went for my hubby's 32nd b-day and had a blast. We were both giddy the whole time. All staff are sympathetic and seem to have as much fun as guests do
