Small local flavor restaurant convenient to our hotel in Lexington. The fried mushrooms were great. The porkchops, bean soup, baked potatoes and cabbage were good as well. The steak was rather tough and the cornbread a bit greasy. Staff were nice and attentive and service was fast. I would probably go back and try other offerings (beside steak)

I really liked their food. I don't judge a restaurant by its decor. The club is excellent, and so is the fish. I also like the soup beans and fried cornbread. I think the service is excellent and I'm not a "regular." I think the draw must be the good food and the friendly atmosphere.
