The California Skin Institute Group, its founder and CEO, Greg S. Morganroth, and a female physician have been named defendants in a malpractice lawsuit filed on 11/17/2017 at the Santa Clara Courthouse. At the time of this writing, the hearing has been scheduled for the afternoon of March 6, 2018.
I posted this information on another board and was threatened and called obscenities for daring to post the truth about a supposedly "Yale doctor." For starters, Dr. Morganroth DID NOT graduate from Yale University. He completed his residency there, which is not the same. So, I find it VERY interesting that his emphasis is so much on Yale, when he received his degree from another university that's equally as good, btw. It goes to show his obsession with status and "pedigrees", but more on that below.
I had previously complained about Dr. Morganroth's reprehensible behavior during my appointment where he grabbed his assistant's arm, without asking for her permission or consent. After calling her arm "spotty," he rudely stuck it under a Wood's lamp. He wanted to do the same to her chest, but I complained it was not necessary. He condescended me when I asked informed questions, and insisted that I told him what it was "that I did for a living." ‘I told him I have a Master’s degree, a bachelor's from a top-5 college in New England, and a career in management in one of the most regulated and innovative industries. He then begrudged, what he referred to as, my "nice pedigree."
I found it repugnant how he first made assumptions about me without knowing me. He seems to rate people's worth according to their level of wealth or education. Ironically, many in his own family have only a four-year college degree even when they were in a financial position to attain post-graduate education. As an example, his wife and brother don't have advanced degrees. By contrast, many people like me who started off with far fewer opportunities or advantages in life (hardships he or his family did not have to endure) have been able to achieve more through self-sacrifice, delayed gratification, and hard work.
Everything that I am and have, I owe it to myself. I had no help from a rich or well-connected family. So, I'm not going to let a sick, reprehensible, uncouth megalomaniac like Dr. Morganroth walk all over me while I remain silent and intimidated.
There are multiple reviews on Yelp and Judysbook spanning a period of 10 years regarding his arrogance, gigantic ego, lack of professionalism, and even patient injuries from procedures performed by him or under his care. Someone with a moral compass, would look inward and try to make things right. After all, it is not just one incident but multiple ones spanning a whole decade! Yet, he blames me and other reviewers since he's incapable of empathy for others outside his circle. He's in his fifties now and still hasn't learned a thing from all the feedback. I doubt he has it in him to change because he's consumed with pride and narcissism.
