What the community has to say about Momofuku Ko

Information about this business (8)

Allow Chef Chang to regale you with music and cuisines ranging from Japanese to Korean at Momofuku. The ramen, dumplings, kimchee and noodles are sought after but the pork dishes emerge as winners. Don't expect fusion food as care is taken to serve authentic Asian fare. This is a great place to grab a quick bite. It offers a late-night menu on Fridays and Saturdays.

Loosely translated, the name of this place could be taken to mean Lucky Peach's Burrito Bar. If the name seems a bit more exotic than the translation, then it's just a fitting match for the food: like a real burrito bar, it's informal and fast, but in this case, it carries an international flavor and is presided over by a famous restaurateur. Ssäm can mean anything wrapped in Korea, so head up...

Momofuku Ko has been called one of the greatest restaurants in the world. It is for this reason, and the fact that the restaurant only has a capacity of 12 diners at a time, that securing a seat can be particularly challenging to reserve a seat here. If you are lucky enough to do so, you will be treated to a ten-course meal of Asian fusion dishes that you won't soon forget. Diners sit at the...

Reviews for Root & Bone, Cherche Midi, and More

Pete Wells tried Patti Jackson's four-course prix fixe menu at Delaware and Hudson. On the first course: "The first thing to land on the table after you choose your main course is a galvanized pail of hot pretzel rolls, boiled in lye and studded with white salt crystals, like Amish rhinestones. The chewy, yeasty pretzels were wonderful smeared with ramp butter or a green mash of fava hummus...

Reviews for The Eddy, Spicy Lanka, Hot Dogs, and More

Zachary Feldman finds interesting cocktails and excellent seafood dishes at The Eddy: "Silky oil-poached salmon yields to the gentlest pressure, flaking into pristine pink slabs to drag through grassy herb crème. Tinged with saffron, the plump fillet wears a crown of leafy greens, bolstered by lemony artichokes...Toothsome, seared cuttlefish ribbons texturally mimic planks of rendered pancetta,...
